Salisbury, NC Painting Professionals
Remove outdated wallpaper and create smooth, paint-ready walls for a fresh new look.
Ready for a fresh start?
Wallpaper can be a great design choice for a time, but styles change, materials age, and many homeowners eventually find themselves ready for a different look. Whether you’re dealing with outdated patterns, peeling seams, damaged wallpaper, or simply want a cleaner, more modern appearance, removing wallpaper is often the first step toward transforming a room.
At Superior Colors Painting Services, we provide professional wallpaper removal services throughout Salisbury, helping homeowners prepare their walls for painting, new wall coverings, or complete room updates. Our goal is to make the process as smooth as possible while protecting the surfaces underneath.
Every wallpaper removal project begins with an evaluation of the existing wallpaper, adhesive, and wall condition. This helps determine the safest and most effective removal process.
Using professional techniques and appropriate tools, we carefully remove wallpaper while working to protect the wall surface underneath.
Even after wallpaper is removed, adhesive residue can remain on the walls. We thoroughly remove leftover adhesive to help create a smooth surface for future finishing.
Walls are cleaned after removal to eliminate remaining residue, dust, and contaminants that could affect future paint adhesion.
Small imperfections, damaged drywall paper, and surface blemishes are addressed to help restore a smooth, uniform appearance.
Proper preparation helps ensure the wall is ready for its next finish. We smooth rough areas and prepare surfaces for priming or painting.
Once preparation is complete, primer can be applied to create a consistent foundation for paint and improve overall finish quality.
Before considering a project complete, we perform a thorough walkthrough to review the finished work. This helps ensure every detail meets our standards and your expectations.

Professional and timely. Did a great paint and plaster repair job on my property. Would recommend and use again. Thanks for the work Spencer.Posted on Google
GrahamSpencer and his team did a fantastic job at my place painting dated (and very visible in my open concept house) kitchen cabinets, painting the whole house and removing old, yellowed popcorn ceiling. Everything turned out great! The cabinets look fabulous at a fraction of the cost of new ones, and the rest of the house looks great with fresh paint and the popcorn ceiling removed (and all underlying issues that were behind it corrected). I couldn't be happier - the entire house looks like it's been upgraded! At all times he was very easy to communicate with regarding his schedule, was very prompt to get the job done and keep things moving along, and he really cared about attention to detail and keeping things clean and tidy. I'd definitely recommend anyone who needs similar work give him a call.Posted on Google

JillI had Superior Colors paint the exterior of my home. I have nothing but good things to say about Spencer and his crew. They did an excellent job, very tidy, and on time every morning. Spencer even cleaned up a spill from a previous painter! Their prices were reasonable and used high quality paint. I will definitely be calling them back on my next painting project.Posted on Google
Jason PetzoldI feel very fortunate in finding Superior Colors Painting. I had some emergency repairs done on my home and needed the exterior stained before the cold weather came. Spencer communicated everyday with me throughout the process. His work is excellent and he was able to get the job done in time. Thank-you Spencer
